Commissions

Arlene takes on a limited number of private commissions each month, where she will work with you to create a one-of-a-kind Arlene Austin piece - painting or she does murals too. Personal stories and values can be woven into each piece, creating something truly unique and meaningful.

The process

This process includes collaborating to gather inspiration from your space, previous works of Arlene's and your budget to create a visual moodboard incorporating your inspiration, the colours, style and compositions you have in mind for the work. Remember, no two pieces are alike and for your commission, you are receiving a one-of-a-kind Arlene Austin piece.

Whilst she is happy to work with you on the size of your piece, she will prioritise large-scale sizes and multiple-piece projects over smaller jobs.

Commission projects have a $800 minimum cost. This covers the costs of materials, planning, mood board creation and the final artwork. 50% deposit upfront, and 50% upon completion of the project.

You can expect a 1-2 month turnaround once your application process moves forward, pending on other commitments. If possible she will always get it to you faster, if possible.

As you fill in the form below, please be as specific as possible. Please include any colour preference, previous work of Arlene's that you like, and information about you/your space that will offer insight. You can include the location you hope to put the piece. Including links will help to understand your individual aesthetic.
